Greg Grainger Adventures

If you are looking for an adventurous vacation, look no further than my Adventure Tours. I and my team like to give our clients a memory you can cherish forever, and one that will keep you talking for years to come. For instance, why not travel to the furthest most city of the world and visit penguins? Here you can travel amongst the penguins of the Antarctic and see everything there is to see in a place you would be least likely to visit.

Taking an adventure vacation of a lifetime is certainly not on everyone’s radar as something they can do, but I and my team can make that possible for you!. When you take your Weddell Sea and penguin tour, you will spend eleven days traveling around the sea; there are helicopter tours to also take. Providing that conditions are favorable, you will take ship to shore flights to Snow Hill Island in order to get to the Emperor penguins. Not many people can say that they have seen this beautiful creature close up and in person. By taking your once in a lifetime vacation here, you can see these majestic animals in their natural habitat.

Whether you have done adventurous vacationing before, or this is your first time, you will always have a great experience with me and my team at Greg Grainger's AdventureTours. They know how to plan safe but daring trips for everyone, trips that will excite and delight you. I promise this will truly be a trip to cross off of your bucket list.

Why Visit Botswana’s Okavango Delta?

When one thinks of the biblical Garden of Eden, the things that come to mind are the popular, universal images: lush foliage, a wide variety of wildlife, and wide, open spaces—nature’s paradise, in other words. It’s incredibly rare to find such a place in this modernized world, in these jungles of concrete, or is it?

Secluded from most of the urban world, the Okavango Delta in Botswana is considered to be Africa’s last Eden. It’s a unique wetland teeming with life—the delta covers around 15,000 square kilometers of the Kalahari Desert in Northern Botswana and is essentially a product of the Okavango River and the waters that flow straight from the Angolan highlands.

The sights in the Okavango Delta are mesmerizing. Writing about his trip to the Delta, U.K. Telegraph travel correspondent Brian Jackman claims that every camp in the Okavango has its own attractions. The Duba Plains shelter herds of buffalo and prides of lions which prey on them, as well as hyenas and hippos. In the Plains you’ll also find a collection of palm-tree islands and a number of magnificent elephants.

Be One with Nature in Solomon Islands

When thinking about travelling the world, rarely would you consider going to the Solomon Islands, primarily because of one reason: it’s not well known. This fact, however, is what makes this place a unique travel destination. Situated just to the east of Papua New Guinea, it is an archipelago made up of a thousand tropical islands.
Travellers looking for an authentic Melanesian experience should look no further than the Solomon Islands. There are so many things to see and do here, from seeing World War II relics around the jungle to visiting the carving villages in some of the islands. The scenery is definitely breathtaking, with its blue ocean, mangroves, emerald forests, and volcanic isles. The wildlife in the islands is interesting as well, consisting of a combination of known and indigenous species, from reptiles to marsupials.
